Over a period of around three years, the Killing Cousins murdered six women, and if Gore hadn't got careless, that tally would have been at least seven. An area of genuine natural beauty: sea, swamps and countryside, these two were its dark secret.

In 1980, the sleepy Florida town had a population of around sixteen thousand. Gore and Waterfield grew up in and operated out of Vero Beach. Like their ugly West Coast cousins Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono, they were actual cousins another parallel is that Bianchi was the weak character who got caught when he went solo while Waterfield was the leader here, and Gore was the avant-guarde one who got caught, bringing his cousin down with him. This is a fairly run-of-the-mill documentary about two lesser known serial murderers: killer couple David Gore and Fred Waterfield.
